Stayed at Logis hotel in Saint-Nectaire and had a great time exploring the charming town. The hotel, although a bit tired decor-wise, is conveniently located at the bottom of the hill leading up to the old town. The big parking area across the road was a bonus. The restaurant served delicious Auverne cuisine at reasonable prices. a good spot for a few days of exploration.

Mind-blowing location near the enchanting old town, just a short walk away. Super convenient with a spacious parking area. Jaw-dropping Auverne cuisine at reasonable prices in the restaurant. The hostess and staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. TV had sports channels for the French open. A great stop for exploring the area for a few days.

Loved the cozy fireplace and delicious local cuisine. The staff spoke multiple languages, making me feel like a world traveler. Explored the area with hiking and fishing. Recreational facilities were a perfect excuse to unleash my competitive billiards skills.
Such a shame that the bathroom didn't come with a time machine to transport me back to the 1920s.

Enjoyed a cozy dinner by the crackling fire, perfect after a long hike. The chef's cuisine felt like it came straight from the earth but hey, at least it was authentic. The staff made me feel at home, probably because they spoke my language.
Just loved the limited food options, what a joke.

We chose Logis for its availability during a busy weekend in St Nectaire. The staff were amazing, treating us like friends. The hotel's old-fashioned charm and comfortable rooms made it a great base for exploring the lovely town. The delicious food in the restaurant was heavenly, and our highest recommendation goes to Les Baladins, a nearby restaurant that exceeded our expectations. The hotel's central location and easy parking across the road were also major highlights.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very accommodating for cyclists, with excellent facilities for bike storage and a helpful staff. The village of St Nectaire is a beautiful and charming destination, perfect for relaxing after a long bike ride or drive.
The restaurant menu options were limited and disappointing, especially considering the staff seemed to discourage dining there.

For the price we paid, we got great value. The room was comfortable and the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the charming old town. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially towards cyclists like us.
The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, maybe by offering more variety.

I had a fantastic stay at a centrally located hotel in a beautiful village. the room was comfortable and had a desk and chairs. the host was very welcoming and even cooked scrambled eggs and waffles for us. They were also incredibly helpful with our mobile phone and provided us with useful tourist information. the hotel had easy and dedicated car parking across the road, which was convenient. the owner of the restaurant kept it open late for us and even provided food for our friends who arrived later. The hotel was well-prepared for cyclists and made us feel at home. cons: Don't have any issues at all. 😊.
